The same structure as Classic Blue, drawn as a statement: the Employer block and title with pay date, period, frequency, filing status and check number, then tinted Employee and Pay Summary cards with their titles in the accent colour.
Earnings and deductions each sit in an outlined panel, side by side, with rate, hours and current pay on the earnings lines and year-to-date figures beside the deductions. A filled net pay bar spans the page, followed by the year-to-date block and any notes.

Anyone who wants a fuller, more detailed-looking statement with the same easy order as Classic Blue. The outlined panels and filled net pay bar give it a stronger frame when it is printed.
Overview
The Detailed Blue Earnings Statement Template is a modern cards layout: rounded cards or tiles, with net pay as a card or bar. Detailed blue earnings statement with structured payroll sections and pay summary.
From top to bottom it runs employer block and title with pay date, period and check number, tinted Employee card, tinted Pay Summary card and outlined earnings and deductions panels side by side, and then the rest of the stub. You fill it in once in the builder, the taxes and totals are worked out for you, and the finished earnings statement downloads as a PDF.

Section by section
It opens the Detailed Blue. The Detailed Blue names the business here: company name, address, and the EIN and phone if you give them. A logo, when you upload one, sits in this block.
The second block on the Detailed Blue. The person paid: name, address, employee ID and the masked SSN (only the last four digits print). Check the spelling here against an ID before you download.
The third block on the Detailed Blue. A summary of the period: gross, deductions and net pay side by side, so a reader who only needs the totals finds them without reading every line.
The fourth block on the Detailed Blue. Earnings and deductions read across from each other. Each pay line (hours × rate, salary, overtime, bonus) sits on one side and each tax or deduction on the other, so on the Detailed Blue you can see what was earned and what came out in one row.
The fifth block on the Detailed Blue. The take-home figure. The Detailed Blue gives net pay its own block so it is the first number a reader finds; it equals gross minus deductions, plus any reimbursement.
It closes the Detailed Blue. Year-to-date figures: the running totals for the calendar year, including this stub. They should grow by exactly this period’s amounts from one stub to the next.

Colours
The Detailed Blue comes in Royal blue, Navy, Steel blue, Lagoon, Emerald, Plum, Ember red and Black & white, with Royal blue as its standard colour. The colour you choose recolours the accents (card headers, tinted totals and the net pay bar); the figures and layout stay the same, and every colour is included in the price.
Document type
“Earnings statement” is the title many payroll departments print on the same document others call a pay stub or pay slip. The Detailed Blue is drawn as a statement (a titled page with the period and the figures laid out formally), but it holds exactly what a pay stub holds: who was paid, for which period, gross pay, each tax and deduction, net pay and the year to date.
Best use
The Detailed Blue breaks the stub into cards with totals that stand out, which reads well on a small screen and in a PDF viewer.
The Detailed Blue prints the full set of withholding lines (federal, Social Security, Medicare, state) for a W-2 employee’s stub.
The Detailed Blue’s statement title and layout suit a stub that is filed with other paperwork or handed to someone else.
The Detailed Blue prints year-to-date figures in “Year-to-date block and notes”, so a run of consecutive stubs shows the year building up period by period.
Compare
The Detailed Blue belongs to the Modern cards family, with Classic Blue, Tile Grid, Banner Card and Tabbed Card. They share the same overall order; what sets the Detailed Blue apart is detailed blue earnings statement with structured payroll sections and pay summary.

Print and PDF
Rounded cards and tinted totals carry the colour you pick, so it looks best printed in colour or opened as a PDF on a screen; in black and white the cards still keep their borders. The PDF is made from the same layout you see in the preview, so what you check is what you get.
Need several periods? The multi-stub builder makes consecutive stubs in this layout with year-to-date totals carried forward, and the sample pay stub walks through every line with real figures.

How it works
Open the builder with the Detailed Blue already selected (the “Use This Template” button does this).
Enter the company and the person paid; the business prints in the “Employer block and title with pay date, period and check number” block.
Add the pay period, pay date and each kind of pay; the lines fill “Outlined earnings and deductions panels side by side”.
Check the estimated taxes and add your own deductions (they print in “Outlined earnings and deductions panels side by side”); every amount can be edited.
Pick a colour (Royal blue, Navy and Steel blue or another), preview the whole stub, then download the PDF.
