Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PayStubGo may collect, use, store, and protect information related to account access, paystub and invoice creation, PDF delivery, payments, support, and website operation.

Overview

PayStubGo respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you use our website, paystub generator, invoice generator, account tools, checkout flow, support features, and related services.

Information We Collect

We may collect information you provide directly, including your email address, support messages, account-related details, payment reference details, and information entered into the paystub or invoice generator.

We may also collect limited technical information such as browser type, device information, IP-related data, usage activity, and diagnostic information needed to operate, secure, monitor, and improve the service.

Fraud and Abuse Prevention

To protect the service from automated and repeated misuse, we record a one-way cryptographic hash of the network address associated with certain requests, together with the time of the request. A one-way hash cannot be reversed, so these records do not let us recover or read the original network address, and we do not use them to identify you or to build a profile of you.

These records are used only to detect and limit automated abuse of the service, are kept for a limited period, and are then deleted automatically. They are not used for advertising, are not sold, and are not shared with third parties for their own purposes.

Paystub, Invoice, and Generated Document Data

We collect the information you enter to create, preview, export, download, email, resend, and store generated documents. Paystub data may include company details, employee details, pay dates, earnings, deductions, tax fields, year-to-date values, delivery email addresses, and generated paystub files.

Invoice data may include business and customer details, contact information, addresses, invoice numbers and dates, line items, descriptions, quantities, rates, taxes, discounts, notes, payment terms or instructions, uploaded logos, delivery email addresses, template selections, and generated invoice files.

We use this information to provide the document-generation service, support PDF delivery and resends, maintain order and document history, troubleshoot issues, prevent fraud or misuse, and improve service reliability.

How We Use Information

We use information to create and preview paystubs and invoices, generate and deliver PDF files, send requested emails, provide account access, maintain order and document history, process support requests, handle payment-related records, prevent fraud or misuse, and improve website functionality, security, and reliability.

Email Communications

Your email address may be used to send one-time login codes, generated paystub or invoice files, requested document resends, support responses, payment-related service messages, and important account or service notices.

We do not sell your email address to third parties.

Payments

Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. We may store payment status, order identifiers, payment reference details, transaction status, and related records needed for checkout, fulfillment, fraud prevention, support, refunds, and accounting.

Cookies, Analytics, and Website Operation

We may use cookies, local storage, analytics, logging, and similar technologies to operate the website, remember session details, improve user experience, monitor performance, troubleshoot errors, protect the service, and understand how visitors use PayStubGo.

Advertising and analytics. We use Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors use our public pages, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Conversions API to measure our advertising. These tools receive standard browser information — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and cookies such as _ga, _fbp and _fbc — and, when you request a paystub or make a purchase, a hashed (one-way encoded) version of your email address so that conversions can be counted. We do not send the contents of any paystub, invoice, or payment details to these providers, and their scripts are not loaded on the paystub builder, account, or checkout pages. You can control ad personalisation in your Meta ad settings and opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on.

Data Retention

We may retain generated paystub and invoice history, account activity, support messages, payment-related records, and related data for operational, customer support, legal, fraud prevention, security, accounting, and service reliability purposes. Retention periods may vary depending on business and legal requirements.

Generated Documents

Generated paystub and invoice files may be stored so you can access, download, email, or resend them from your account history. You may request deletion of certain records, subject to legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, support, and operational requirements.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to help protect your information. However, no method of transmission, processing, or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Services

Our website may rely on third-party tools and providers for payments, hosting, email delivery, analytics, security, infrastructure, logging, and support operations. These providers may process data as necessary to perform their services.

Your Rights and Requests

You may contact us to request access, updates, corrections, or deletion of certain personal information, subject to legal, security, fraud prevention, accounting, support, and operational requirements.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
